Clever Buying Procurement Training and Qualification

We offer three outstanding Procurement Training and Qualification Options:

Two-Day Clever Buying Foundation Procurement Training

NZQA Level 6 Certificate in Infrastructure Procurement Procedures

Diploma in NZ Public Sector Procurement

The popular Clever Buying Procurement Training Programme covers best practice procurement methods for preparing Procurement Strategies and Plans; developing Requests for Tender and conducting all aspects of Tender Evaluation in compliance with Government Procurement Rules.

As well as meeting MBIE guidelines and Government requirements for Qualified Tender Evaluators, we introduce leading-edge tools that cut the time and costs of tender evaluations – while improving the quality of decision making.

Some people ask what is the difference between the NZQA Certificate and the Diploma? Well, the Diploma is more frequently updated than the NZQA Certificate. It provides training and tools to support leading-edge procurement practice, such as Lean-Agile Procurement, ECI contracting and Promises Registers (and more). The NZQA Level 6 Certificate is valid for NZTA Qualified Proposal Evaluators.

All our training programmes offer students scenario-based training resources which can be used to demonstrate skills. This enables our students to fast-track to Qualified Proposal Evaluator status, since they don’t need to wait for suitable workplace examples in order to complete most of their training.

Practical Procurement Training – two-day foundation course for all Qualification Options.

The winning formulae for the Clever Buying Programme is its foundation two-day Clever Buying workshop. It covers everything that your procurement teams need to know about procurement planning and running tender processes.

It’s fun, action-packed, and bristling with current leading-edge procurement tools and practices. It’s the only course that teaches practical skills using scenario-based materials and group activities – priceless!

Course participants invariably report it’s been an eye-opener that transforms and provides great confidence in their procurement activities. Click here to download a flier about our ‘Clever Buying’ courses
