A Chartered Professional Engineer, Steve has almost 30 years’ experience in New Zealand and internationally in design, project management, and as a lecturer in civil engineering. Throughout his career, he has been involved in procurement planning and tender evaluation.
An experienced and effective mentor and educator, Steve is very personable and highly regarded for his high quality of analysis, and is an expert at putting outstanding procurement documentation together.
As a qualified assessor of the Diploma in NZ Public Sector Procurement, he works closely with procurement specialists in many public-sector organisations to guide, support and build their capability in procurement processes.
Based in Tauranga, Steve has had senior roles within Tauranga City Council; and is now extensively involved in procurement training and assessment while also completing his PhD.
